Lactobacillus murinus is the correct name if this species is regarded as a separate species within a separate genus Lactobacillus. See also: Publication: Klein G. International Committee on Systematic Bacteriology. Subcommittee on the taxonomy of Bifidobacterium, Lactobacillus and related organisms.
"Lactobacillus murinus" is found in greater proportion on mucosa than in the other sites, Staph. aureus predominates in saliva, and Strep. faecalis was found in greater proportion in tooth samples.

Lactobacillus murinus Improved the Bioavailability of Orally Administered Glycyrrhizic Acid in Rats Tianjie Yuan1, Jin Wang1,2, Letian Chen2,Jinjun Shan3 and Liuqing Di1,2* In previous works in our laboratory, a Lactobacillus murinus strain isolated from feces of a healthy dog was characterized in vitro. This strain survived to different pH and bile salts conditions Differential colonization with segmented filamentous bacteria and Lactobacillus murinus do not drive divergent development of diet-induced obesity in C57BL/6 mice.pdf Available via license: CC BY Lactobacillus plantarum and Lactobacillus casei, Lactobacillus ferintoshensis, Lactobacillus fermentum, Lactobacillus jensenii, Lactobacillus murinus, Lactococcus lactis, Enterococcus sp., and Weissella confusa were the species isolated.

2018 Jun 22;13(6):e0196710. doi: 10.1371/journal.pone.0196710. Lactobacillus exhibits a mutualistic relationship with the human body, as it protects the host against potential invasions by pathogens, and in turn, the host provides a source of nutrients. Lactobacilli are among the most common probiotic found in food such as yogurt, and it is diverse in its application to maintain human well-being, as it can help treat diarrhea, vaginal infections, and skin 2016-08-01 · Lactobacillus murinus is sensitive to the prebiotic activity of diosgenin, a sapogenin possessing anti-allergic activity.

Our results showed that L. murinus could significantly improve the translocation of GL on Caco-2 cell models. Lactobacillus is a genus of Gram-positive, aerotolerant anaerobes or microaerophilic, rod-shaped, non-spore-forming bacteria. Until March 2020, the genus Lactobacillus comprised over 260 phylogenetically, ecologically, and metabolically diverse species; a taxonomic revision of the genus in 2020 assigned lactobacilli to 25 genera (see § Taxonomy below).
While deprivation of dietary biotin per se did not affect skin physiology, its simultaneous treatment with vancomycin resulted in hair loss in specific pathogen-free (SPF) mice. Taxonomy ID: 1622(for references in articles please use NCBI:txid1622) current name. Lactobacillusmurinus Hemme et al.

Furthermore, L. murinus was selected to be orally administred into rats in healthy and liver cirrhosis groups by a daily gavage protocol. Our data highlighted that supplements of L. murinus significantly improved the bioavailability of orally administered GL in rats, especially under a pathological condition, which may provide a novel strategy for improving the clinical therapeutic effect of liver protective drugs.
